SMS marketing is at the heart of a mobile marketing strategy that is gaining more followers every day. While we may hate sending emails, the opposite is true for SMS, as SMS marketing has a better response rate than email.
To take advantage of this and start sending messages that will generate more leads, we must always remember:
Be available
Promote your SMS phone number so people can reach you. Include it on your website, your Facebook page, and your paid ads, and encourage people to text you whenever they want (but make sure to respond immediately!)

Include a Call to Action (CTA)
Tell your prospects what they need to do with a clear call to action. Before sending your message, take a moment to think about the ultimate goal of your communication and include a call to action that will guide your prospects toward that goal.
Keep it brief
When sending SMS, you are choosing an immediate means of communication, which means your prospects won't have time for long reads. To illustrate the level of attention your prospects will give you, try to imagine yourself driving on a highway and suddenly seeing an ad on a billboard. That is the type of short message we are trying to emulate here.
Segmentation
Your customers will only pay attention to what meets their specific needs, so use segmentation to target those who might find value in your offer. To do this, try creating different customer lists to send them the information they will appreciate most.
Automation
Include SMS in your campaign workflows to track your customers' behavior. With the Octopush API, for example, you can create your own integrations with your CRM or e-commerce tools, but you can also use our plugins for Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento, and Zapier (to connect to over 2,000 different tools).
